Beauty Obsession Alert!!

I'm always on the look out for new products to try hoping that they will simply amaze me. Unfortunately, this doesn't happen that often but this product that I happened upon is pretty stinking fantastic. Get ready to love me for this suggestion, ladies!

As you guys know, I love, love, love Glycolic acid. The benefits that you get from this Alpha Hydroxy Acid are just wonderful. Just in case you've missed some of my previous blogs, let me explain why I care for this stuff the way that I do.

Glycolic is a natural fruit acid that comes from sugar cane. It helps to "eat away" at the dead skin cells and surface grime that sit on top of our new skin cells. The result? A newer, brighter, younger, and tighter layer of skin that is nice and plump from the encouraged production of new collagen and elastin proteins (on a side note, I am also curious if this will help to minimize the appearance of stretch marks. In theory, it should based on how glycolic works. I'll keep you posted on this!).

I use my Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Treatment(TM) 1.7 oz on my face every night before I go to bed so that my skin will look smooth and fresh in the morning, but I started thinking - what if I had a product that allowed me to use this on my whole body? How awesome would that be?

Not only does this body lotion have Glycolic - it also contains its sister acid, Lactic. Lactic is an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) that works very similarly to Glycolic by helping to eliminate the surface grim and promote a healthier skin cell turnover. In other words, it works hand in hand with Glycolic to make your skin look really pretty!

This lotion contains Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Pure Grape seed Oil, Pure Camellia Seed Oil, Vitamin E, Aloe Vera Leaf Extract, Rose Garden Fragrant Oil and other additives that make your skin look more even by correcting any discoloration, firmer by encouraging the boost of collagen and elastin (this also helps diminish the appearance of cellulite), and incredibly soft and supple!

I use this every night before bed or right after I get out of the shower.

Be aware that if you use this product during the day, you will need a sunscreen as glycolic makes you more sensitive to the sun.
